With this extra time we’ve been gifted I believe we should be working on our bodies and treating them well. We all have an opportunity, right now, to build healthy habits for when life and business picks back up.
In particular, our wrists could use a little help. One thing I’ve learned is that short breaks for movement throughout the day make me feel soooo much better. And those short breaks help me work faster and get through editing, emails, website work, a lot quicker…literally spending less time rubbing my wrists and more time completing tasks and feeling better.
So, I break up my editing with a quick 3 minute routine to move my wrists in different ways.
This video is a great explanation of a wrist mobility drill I do quite often.
I love this little routine because I can do this at any time. All it takes is a little focus and attention and only takes a few minutes.
Not only does this work well for time spent behind the computer, it’s going help you a ton after holding your camera for long periods of time…say an 8 hour wedding.
Keep those wrists healthy, guys. Movement is medicine and I hope you’ll give this a go!
